Sudbury Cycling Club provides non-member riders the opportunity to attend a training session as a try-out. Try-out sessions provide curious riders an understanding of what the Sudbury Cycling Club is all about, and help them decide if they want to register as a member.

A try-out session is a one-time opportunity which will introduce the basics of cycling – including the basics of road bike set-up, handling skills, and group riding skills. They are conducted during our regularly-scheduled sessions on Delki Dozzi Cycling Track.

Try-outs are encouraged and welcome for all cyclists interested in the sport of cycling. Try-outs are open for riders:

  • Aged 14 and up
  • who have never been members of the SCC
  • who have not held a OC membership or UCI license
  • have never participated in an SCC try-out

Thursday, June 11, will be our free try-out day. Come and join us in a safe and friendly environment to try road cycling. Try-outs are free but we ask that you please fill out the below form and bring a printed copy to the track this Thursday for our workout between 6-8pm.
